JYPE used Jaebum as a scapegoat in order to keep their company's image clean.

- Jaebum arrived in Korea in January of 2005. The Myspace comments were made February of 2005. In that one month, the only Korean society that he could have had access to is JYP Entertainment.

- In order to protect their company's image, JYPE changed the meaning of Jaebum's comments regarding his 'slave contract,' originally set for 10 years, into comments that were belittling Korea.

- Jaebum's slave contract was set for 10 years, but with much persuasion and discussion, it was changed into 8 years, and then 7.

- Jaebum's comments regarding Rain leaving the company and the controversial $12 statement was later found to be part of the lyrics from D-12's song. He used it as a way to express his feelings towards the company.

- In other words, Jaebum did not belittle Koreans in his Myspace comments but belittle the Koreans around him - which could only be JYPE.

- JYPE found this to be extremely aggravating and thought of him as an inconsiderate boy, which was an effective enough reason to take him out of the company.

- JYPE then released statements pushing the blame on Jaebum and hoarding public opinion into thinking that these comments were made towards all of Korea, not JYPE and his slave contract.

- After Jaebum left, JYPE immediately came out with the statement saying that they are completely against 'slave contracts' and are working with the Fair Trade Commission.

- In the official homepage for 2PM, Park Jinyoung states that Jaebum was 'already that kind of kid.' One can easily feel the pented anger he has towards him.

- In Golden Fishery, Park Jinyoung specifically states that what Jaebum did was wrong and out of line.

Regarding Park Jaebum's complete withdrawal, he knew about it. It was talked about in between both JYPE and Jay, but it was only a one sided conversation. I've been seeing Jay from the start and am writing this because he lives such a pity life. I want to speak out but I can't. Jay had no idea of what was going to happen and was brought to disappointment after picking up that call. Can you imagine how would a youth like him, who was preparing hard for his comeback would feel? They were pretending to be kind to call of his contract termination fine and to help the boys for him. They really didn't need Jay anymore, it was as if he was just thrown away like that. The members only had to accept this fact with no questioning.

JYPE is a very strict company. Every singer has to ask for permission to feature in any projects and they have to report of their whereabouts everyday.

It was the same for Jay who had withdrew from 2PM in Seattle. They had clear information on Jay's schedules in Seattle, regarding his dance rehearsals and activities. Nobody had the chance to be dishonest. Jay received the same treatment even if he was so far away and wasn't allowed to breath for once. Jay now has no rights to speak for 2PM or JYPE and was even told to remain anonymous online by covering his face.

JYPE decided to not bring Jaebum back in the middle of January. After that, they started spreading rumors themselves in several places stating that Jaebum doesn't want to return, including an extra rumor about his health. However, his bboy videos had already circulated on Youtube at the time and they were forced to discard those two rumors.

Now their pattern has changed into starting rumors that will effectively bar Jaebum from returning. They're the ones pushing these rumors. Even Kim Hyungwoo is writing on his Cyworld and checking the response of fans.

What I'm afraid of is them later releasing articles regarding a real controversial problem using Jaebum's initials as the culprit.

Why? Because that's what happened to Bi, Hyunah, Park Jiyoon... Bi and Hyunah were able to recover well but Park Jiyoon will forever have to live with the rumor JYPE placed on her until she succeeds as a comeback.

TN NOTE: What this author is referring to is the controversies surrounding the leave of all previous JYPE artists. Each artist had a rumor that JYPE announced when the artist stated their leave from the company.

* GOD's controversy. The members themselves opened a press conference for the fans and revealed that they had never heard of the withdrawal of the member in question and blatantly stated that they do not believe he should be kicked out from the group like this. Fans went up in boycott, and within a week, JYPE was forced to announce that the member will remain in the group. Articles and news videos of this press conference can be easily retrieved. Park Joonhyung cried at the conference saying he never wanted to leave. Yoon Kyesang stated that his withdrawal from the group was a reason he could never reveal.

* Park Jiyoon has come out to the press herself and stated that her leave from JYPE was less than desirable. At the time of her leave, rumors all of a sudden began to circulate news portals regarding a sexual encounter before the release of her first album. She never recovered from the rumors.

* Noeul was never notified of the group's disbandment. They found out through the newspaper the next day.

* Bi's departure from JYPE was sensationalized in the media by JYPE as a 'termination of contracts' when in actuality, Bi fulfilled his contract terms and left as an individual. There were also rumors of particular statements he made on a radio show.

* Wonder Girls was on the brink of losing their image due to a rumor that began circulating. Soon after, Hyunah left the group due to health problems.
